Project Coordinator for Patient-Based Surveys

The project coordinator administers surveys at health care facilities to patients as they finish office visits.   The project coordinator uses exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills to distribute mail-in survey cards or to collect and report data electronically using a tablet computer.  The project coordinator maintains tablet computers in working order for data collection and upload.  The project coordinator maintains a good working relationship with the facility.  This is a 6 to 9 month position.



Director of Alumni Relations

The Director of Alumni Relations is charged with securing commitments from alumni; collaborating with colleagues in the administrative offices (including, but not limited to Admissions, Development, Communications and Student Affairs) and the colleges to create and maintain pathways for alumni participation that advance the goals of the University; partnering with University colleagues to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward alumni giving; and serving as a liaison between the Alumni Association and the academic and administrative leadership.


Director of Fund Development

The Director of Fund Development plans, implements and manages strategies for cultivation, solicitation and major gifts for the benefit of the University. This position will focus on identifying and evaluating giving potential of major and principal gift prospects through personal visits and engage them in the philanthropic priories that advance and serve TUC’s mission. The Director of Fund Development will plan and implement a new annual fund campaign directed to alumni, employees and community supporters. The Director will work collaboratively with the Associate Vice President for University Advancement to identify potential donors for major gifts based on developing personal relationships and assessment of alumni data in The Raiser’s Edge. The Director will also research, draft, and write reports, proposals, and grants to secure funding for the University. This position, reporting to the Associate Vice President of Advancement, will have day-to-day responsibility for soliciting funds in support and for the University.

Diabetes Prevention Program Coordinator

The Diabetes Prevention Program Coordinator implements the lifestyle program, supervises daily operations related to the lifestyle program, provides support and guidance to lifestyle coaches, and ensures that the program achieves quality performance outcomes.


Mobile Classroom Driver Manager

This position will be the driver of the truck and mobile classroom for the diabetes related activities for TUCA. The mobile classroom will travel around Solano County to provide direct services to the community. They are responsible to safely transport the classroom and diabetes related volunteers, set up the mobile classroom in community settings and to maintain the truck and mobile classroom.


Research Assistant

A research assistant performs a variety of technical duties involved in collecting data on muscle fiber architecture, including obtaining, preparing and mounting muscle tissue for microscopic examination.


College of Pharmacy

Postdoctoral Fellow

A postdoctoral position is available to conduct research in the laboratory of Dr. Alison McCormick at Touro University California. The applicant selected for this position will explore new vaccine formulations for immunotherapy and infections disease. Our laboratory uses virology, molecular biology, protein chemistry, cell culture, FACS, ELISpot and biochemical methods, in addition to mouse models of disease, to analyze and develop effective vaccines. Similar elements to studies planned have appeared in the following journal articles: PMIDs 26098553, 24923637, 24378714, 21346416, 18251692, 16984144, 16466765.

Food Services


Under the direction of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, the dish and general utility position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, cookware, pans, baking trays, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dishwashing area and kitchen is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility. The culinary work in this position must follow all of the TUC Dining Services commitments to quality, proper health and safety guidelines.


Food Service Worker

The Food Service Worker will provide support in all aspects of the kitchen operation, assist the kitchen manager with catering activities, stock the vending machines, support the operation of the cafe and bistro, as well as preparation and serving of food for daily dining guests as well as for all catering events.


Information Technology

Application Support Specialist & Training Coordinator

Under the direction of the Associate Director of Information Technology, the Application Support Specialist & Training Coordinator provides support to mission critical applications used by faculty, staff, students and administration. The position develops training and support strategies, implementation and capacity review plans, establishes and administers desktop and computer lab application standards, assures compliance with software licensure requirements, conducts needs analysis and researches new software solutions.

Director, Career & Professional Development

The Director, Career & Professional Development serves as the career services professional at Touro University California (TUC). The individual needs to have career development expertise and must have strong counseling/coaching, program coordination and presentation skills. The position requires that the individual be able to manage multiple projects, develop and maintain working relationships across the university and provide strategic and innovative programming in a dynamic environment.

Director of Student Health

Within the guidelines of Touro University's Standardized Procedures Agreement, and under the direction and supervision of the Medical Director, the Student Health Center Director is the primary point of patient contact and treatment for the Touro University student body. The Director of the Student Health Center directly reports to the Associate Dean for Student Affairs.


Financial Aid Administrative Assistant

The Financial Aid Administrative Assistant is responsible for clerical and technical tasks specializing in the areas of financial aid, for responding to students who walk in, phone and email with general financial aid questions, and assists in processing, recording, updating and reconciling applications for student financial aid.

Medical Assistant

The medical assistant, a member of the Student Health Center team, assists the physician and Nurse Practitioner in the delivery of primary healthcare to Touro University students and in the maintenance of health and immunization requirement data.
